OSUMILITE

I found most of my Osumilite specimens in my first Wannenkopf year, in the rubble below the interesting wall. Later on also some tiny blue ones in the manycolored xenoliths . There was no examination whether the Wannenkopf Osumilites are from the "Mg" group or the "Fe" group. Accompanying minerals: Sanidine, Hematite, Cristobalite, Mullite, Pseudobrookite, and rarely Cordierite. Habitus: mostly simple hexagonal tabulars, sometimes prismatic crystals.
