This week Günter Blass analysed this specimen. EDX 1: Fe 51%, Ti 36%, Mg 6%, Al 2%, Si 5%. Pseudobrookite !!
The rounded spots .... EDX 2: Si 89%, Fe 6%, Ti 5%. EDX 3: Si 81%, Fe 9%, Ti 7%, Al 3%.
So .... Pseudobrookite crystals covered with Cristobalite spots with enclosed (or moistured) Ilmenite !!
