Is there any other quarry where you can find so much Topaz ??? You can find them in any type of xenolith; long prismatic crystals, needles, hairy crystals .... mostly colourless, sometimes white .. pink .. orange .. and even yellow. Sometimes single crystals or little solid balls, but mostly lots of crystals form "bushes" of Topaz. White Mullite .... or hairy Topaz ....!?? That's really difficult, maybe even impossible to determine on sight (and know that it is right). An XRD and/or EDX analyse is a possibility, but expensive. Don't forget that Mullite is much, much more rare then Topaz ! Do the crystals look a bit like cotton-wool (wat) .... and fit the kind of xenolith and the accompanying other minerals, then I call it Mullite.
